Rest into beauty, sound, rhythm, and nature in this integrated week in a Hawaiian paradise Jan 27-Feb3, 2024.
Be rejuvenated, enjoy, and participate as you like. Experience beautiful nature excursions, sacred healing sound, fun rhythm and jams, yoga and movement practices, and loving community that leave us all transformed, inspired, renewed, happy and healthy from the inside.
Our retreat takes place at an exquisite boutique wellness spa located on the North Kohala coast of the Big Island: the Hawaii Island Retreat Center. It is an eco-retreat and place of intentional peacefulness set among towering trees and ocean breezes, with big, wonderful trails, well-respected sacred places, and beautiful gardens, close to beaches, with clean, private accommodations and plenty of outdoor meeting spaces. We are blessed to connect and to be welcomed by the locals to this sacred land. And much of our food is grown and harvested right there!

The retreat fee includes:
· 7 nights lodging (arriving Jan. 27th and departing Feb 3rd)
· All of the daily sessions with Gina and guest teachers (participate as you like, no experience needed, and rest as you like):
o Morning mantra sessions amongst the singing birds with gorgeous views, and regular movement to free body, heart and mind.
Mantras have an effect long after the chanting ends to create peace and wellness.
o Voice empowerment and warmups - experience greater pleasure and power in your speaking and singing!
o Breath work for health and relaxation
o Regular, healing guided meditations (chakra balancing and other)
o Chant, sound healing and singing circles from East and West
o Rhythm classes! Unique to this retreat- you will be offered 6 joyful group drumming classes with Afro-Cuban drum teacher (and band-leader) Roderick Overman. Experience the joy and groove of interlocking polyrhythms, as you build confidence, musicianship and fun group energy. There is something for everyone regardless of your physical needs or abilities. Roderick is wonderful at guiding all levels!
o Hawaiian cultural offerings – experience the beauty of Hawaiian arts
o Tours/respectful guidance through the sacred Hawaiian lands- a palpable, unique, opportunity of connection with the Aina (land)
o Afternoon /evening chant and song circles from community as well
· Two meals per day, a hearty organic brunch and dinner sourced literally farm to table, prepared with love and mindfulness from the retreat center
Not included in the retreat fee:
· Airfare to Kona
· Transportation to and from the retreat center (though we can help coordinate)
· Spa treatments or other services offered by the retreat center
